Learn a Trade!\nOrleans Technical College’s 25-week program and 5 week externship will train you for a healthcare career. Our program combines classroom education\, hands-on practical assignments\, and an externship with employer partners. Dedicated staff help every step of the way\, from application and financial aid eligibility to successful program completion and certification – plus employer connection to jobs. \nFinancial aid is available for those who qualify. A high school diploma or equivalent is required to apply. \nEarn these credentials and begin your new career\n\nCertified Medical Assistant-National Healthcare Association (NHA)\nCertified Phlebotomy Technician-National Healthcare Association (NHA)\nCertified EKG Technician-National Healthcare Association (NHA)\nCPR/AED Certified for Healthcare Workers (American Heart Association)\n\nUpcoming Classes\n14-month evening program starts 2/5/24 \nEmployment Opportunities\n \nClinical Medical Assistants work in a variety of health settings\, including: doctor’s offices\, clinics\, and hospitals. Orleans has built a network of employer partners for our students to connect with after they complete their training. \nStudent Right to Know\nTitle I\, Section 103 of The “Student Right‐to‐Know and Campus Security Act” (P.L. 101‐542) requires institutions eligible for Title IV funding to calculate graduation rates of certificate‐ or degree‐seeking\, first‐time\, full‐time students entering that institution\, and to disclose these rates to all students and prospective students.
