Role at Orleans Tech:
I train, supervise, and support Orleans Technical College faculty. I meet with employers and update curricula in accordance with their growing needs. In addition, I oversee students’ academic progress and provide support to make them successful graduates.
How do you fulfill the Orleans and JEVS (parent organization) missions in “making hope happen” for each student that trains with us:
I believe that I make hope happen for Orleans students by providing support for their learning path. Whether it’s training the students on how to use Cengage or supporting the faculty with new technology, I make sure their learning is engaging.
A good day at Orleans Tech is when…
I meet a successful graduate who comes back to hire our students or comes back to apply for a position as an instructor. Orleans is proud to hire our own graduates after they get experience in the trades!
About me:
I love to travel and learn new languages, experience new cultures, and see the architecture of various time periods. The trades always leave their mark in any time period and it is fascinating to me how our students can learn to build, install, or repair in only 6 months.
I am grateful that working at Orleans has given me the opportunity to meet so many talented students and staff.
