Role at Orleans Tech:
I am responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations for the college. That includes interacting with each department, connecting with students, and responding to both internal and external inquiries; internally (among our executive and support staff with our parent organization, JEVS Human Services) and externally (community partners).
How do you fulfill the Orleans and JEVS (parent organization) missions in “making hope happen” for each student that trains with us:
I fulfill JEVS and OTC’s mission of making hope happen by ensuring we are meeting the needs of our students and serving a primary source for our employer partners. This is done by working with instructional and non-instructional staff to produce program graduates that have the requisite skillset and competencies to be productive employees.
A good day at Orleans Tech is when…
A student graduates, attain their diploma, and began a career in their field of study. Additionally, I am most proud when our graduates are in a better position to support their families and be an asset to their community.
