Using Your Educational Benefits
Orleans Technical College’s job training programs are approved by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. We are happy to welcome veterans and service members to utilize their educational benefits at our school, such as The Post-911 GI Bill® and Montgomery GI Bill®.
Orleans Tech is committed to helping veterans “retrain,” and gain marketable skills for a new career in the civilian workforce. Upon completion of your chosen training program, Orleans’ on-site employment specialists will work with you one-on-one to help you transition into your new career path through job search assistance and access to our veteran-friendly employer partners throughout the region. We will also help you to prepare a résumé that highlights your prior military experience, as well as the practical knowledge and technical skills you gain at Orleans.

Eligibility
Orleans Technical College charges the same tuition for all students. Orleans is in the process of finalizing its Voluntary Education Partnership Memorandum of Understanding through the U.S. Department of Defense. We have Financial Aid Officers available to provide personal interviews for each veteran. The Financial Aid Officers will review and discuss the veterans’ eligibility for federal and state aid assistance for tuition, fees, and books.
Military Friendly Status
Orleans has been named a Military Friendly School® in 2015, 2014, 2013 and 2012. This coveted designation honors the top 20 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools in the country that are doing the most to embrace military service members and veterans as students and help them to facilitate their success. The Military Friendly Schools list is the gold standard in letting veterans know which schools will offer them the greatest opportunity, flexibility and overall experience.
