Advisory Committee
With the assistance of area employers and industry specialists who serve on Orleans Technical College’s Employer Advisory Committees, we stay attuned to the changing workforce needs of Greater Philadelphia in our training areas of construction and building trades. Orleans Tech welcomes employers to share their expertise in specific technical and educational areas, and advise in the following ways:
- make recommendations on the relevance and adequacy of equipment
- review and evaluate curricula
- support the school’s vocational education, job search and student services efforts.
The committees also review and comment on graduation, employment, and retention rates and provide mentoring, presentations, internships, apprenticeships, and employment opportunities.
