Orleans Technical College originally reported the Quarterly Budget and Expenditure Report for the institutional portion of the CARES Act funds 18004(a)(1) and 18004(a)(2) covering the quarter ending 9/30/2020 as the final report. On 2/4/2021, Orleans Technical College became aware of an additional $329 that was awarded through a revision in November 2020 for 18004(a)(2). In order to account for these funds, Orleans Technical College requested the drawdown of the $329 from the revision award of 18004(a)(2), which was applied to the expenses for the purchase of PPE, cleaning supplies and reconfiguration of facilities to promote social distancing prior to 12/31/2020. Orleans Technical College revised the quarterly report covering the quarter ending 9/30/2020 to uncheck the “final report” box. Orleans Technical College also uploaded an additional Quarterly Budget and Expenditure Report for the quarter ending 12/31/2020 to report the additional $329 and checked the “final report” box.
On 3/5/2021, Orleans Technical College received an additional $38,994 through a revision for 18004(a)(2). The College applied these additional funds to: (1) Campus safety and operations; (2) Replacing lost revenue due to reduced enrollment; and (3) Purchasing, leasing, or renting additional equipment or software to enable distance learning, or upgrading campus wi-fi access or extending open networks to parking lots or public spaces, etc. Orleans Technical College uploaded an additional Quarterly Budget and Expenditure Report covering the quarter ending 3/31/2021 to report the additional $38,994. This report includes explanatory notes to provide additional information regarding the use of funds and has the “final report” box checked.
