Graduates – Employed in Field: The number of graduates employed in jobs for which the program trained them. NOTE: Graduates classified as employed must be supported by documentation showing position obtained, date employed, employer, and employer contact person, address, and phone.

Graduates – Available for Employment: This number removes graduates from the placement rate who fall into one of the following categories:

  1. death;
  2. incarceration;
  3. active military service deployment;
  4. the onset of a medical condition that prevents employment;
  5. international students who have returned to their country of origin; and/or
  6. individuals who continue on with education in an accredited institution of higher education on at least a half-time basis.

Orleans Technical College maintains documentation supporting the above named categories. The total number of exclusions per Gainful Employment program was fewer than 10 and therefore cannot be disclosed.
